While nonreligious student groups have a history of reaching out to religious groups for discussions and debates, the amount of cooperation in the last few years has increased drastically and broadened in scope.

In my experience, interfaith work doesn't require that people check their convictions at the door, and if the only thing keeping atheists from participating is a semantic disagreement with the word "faith," I think that is a missed opportunity.

In going to the Creation Museum, I would be visiting a place where I not only disagree theologically with people but also with their entire culture war mentality.

When I first started doing interfaith work, I didn't see many other nonreligious people involved. Now, we're impossible to miss.
