Gun violence is a cancer plaguing our American body politic. True meaningful action to reduce violence requires a holistic approach. Supporting the Second Amendment is not incompatible with the gun control supported by the majority of Americans.
Will we as a nation continue to focus our attention on the epidemic of gun violence or has our addiction to violence grown so serious that we cannot even recognize it?
After each tragedy we keep saying we want to address the issue and don't. I just don't get our reasoning. I just don't get how we can feel so terrible for these victims then give lip service and do nothing about it.
