The HBO film Game Change certainly portrays former vice presidential candidate and conservative firebrand Sarah Palin as ignorant, arrogant, erratic, impetuous and narcissistic. But the real villain in this saga is Sen. John McCain.
During his Sixty Minutes interview, I was not surprised to see that Abramoff was his usual likeable and articulate self. I was surprised, however, that Abramoff responded to his interviewer, Leslie Stahl, with almost "junkie pride."
Let's remember Sarah Palin's arrogant charge that Obama's "going to great lengths" to conceal his birth certificate from the public. Well it sure seems like she's going to great lengths to keep her emails from the public.
I find the president's failure to quit smoking fascinating. Obama's a man who's seemingly been able to accomplish in life everything he's wanted, demonstrating unwavering discipline, resolve and ambition.
