Seperation of Church and State

The government should surely honor our fallen war heroes, but erecting a massive, stand-alone symbol of Christian faith is not the way to do it.

From a strictly legal perspective, it is next to impossible for courts to enforce the separation of church and state in the context of laws like Proposition 8.

I am in total agreement with those who want gay marriage to be legal -- they are right. But being right isn't enough.

It's hypocritical for the religious right to be hyperventilating over state-sponsored religion by Islamic extremists while gradually allowing the state to encroach on our "full liberty in religious concernments."
