When I think of articulating a new sexual hope, what I imagine is us working together not just for healthier personal sexual expression. I imagine us as a society taking care of each other, sexually speaking.

Sex and money, sex and race, sex and the family, and asexuality. These are some conversations already happening that I wish more people would get involved in.

These days, following the Obama inauguration, New Yorkers, many of whom have already lost jobs due to the flagging economy, are engaging in a different kind of sex.

While our cultural exposure to sex has heightened over the last decade, our level of personal satisfaction has plummeted to a staggering low, with sexual dissatisfaction being cited more often than ever as a primary cause of divorce.
