Myanmar's leaders and people deserve great credit for embracing democracy and political transition. However, further steps are needed to consolidate reforms and social progress.
The Pali Canon offers a prescription on ethics, conflict resolution and social harmony. Likewise, the Qur'an and Sunnah embody similar social harmony principles that could be the basis for inter-faith dialogue.
