Too Many Students Rely on Social Promotion

Despite my efforts in making sure that students were updated about their grades, many times they really didn't see a connection in their mastery of the work and their final grades. Eventually after reviewing all of the student records and in all of that data (attendance, test scores, etc.) I realized the real issue. Most of my students were in high school due to social promotion.

Social promotion was never a big problem. Politicians, including both Thompson and Mayor Moneybags, created an unnecessary furor and stigmatized a tiny fraction of the student population.
