I read that it has been over 1,042 days since we corrected 10 percent or more. Holy crap! That's three years!
There may be up to a 20% correction in the market in 2014. There are two contributing factors to this. First, there is dropping confidence we are seeing in the market. Second is that there is a growing belief that the market is priced for perfection, i.e. over priced and any bad news could trigger a correction.
The U.S. has not had a budget in four years. As the country increased the national debt by about $5 trillion in deficit spending, it never went over budget. Ridiculous, no?
