The Los Angeles Film Festival kicks off this week downtown with an eclectic slate of alternative stimulation. Run by Film Independent, the LAFF has a more chill, familial air than Sundance, and unlike Sundance, you can usually get tickets.
As we write from London, we confess that as filmmakers it doesn't get much better than this: the Sundance Institute announcement that HRH The Prince of Wales will introduce the World Theatrical Premiere of our film Harmony: A New Way of Looking at Our World.
So how was Sundance? Well, I feel as though I had a successful festival. By that, I mean that I achieved my main goal: I saw a lot of films that made me want to share them with the film clubs I program.
