My mother was a terrible cook, but she set a beautiful table. Every year at least a week before the Jewish holidays -- which, as she used to say, fell either too early or too late, but were never on time -- she'd get out her most favorite dishes.
Everyone needs to reset their physical and mental vantage point every so often for a fresh outlook. It doesn't have to be a full-blown move or change; it can be a small adjustment. If you don't like the picture, reframe it. If things become too burdensome, take time to stop, clear and reset.
Although there does not appear to be an imminent risk of the nascent REC platforms supplanting longer-established sources, the convenience and predictability of REC platforms is likely to propel their proliferation.
