You are literally sending the message to young girls, who are already struggling with self confidence, that hiding their body makes them more attractive. You are establishing a sense of shame in these young, developing minds and bodies.
Sure, serendipity can help you be in the right place at the right time, and little blessings might offer opportunity. But it isn't luck that gives you resilience or determination. It isn't luck that allows you to be strong enough to make difficult choices.
You're not ugly. Not in the least, so don't make those videos. Take them down if they are up. You don't need people to tell you how beautiful you are on there. You don't need to put yourself in the position to be judged that way.
Everyone has an opportunity to make a difference in a girl's self-esteem, and we should all commit ourselves to helping girls build a positive relationship with beauty so that they can reach their full potential.
