At B. B. King's on Sunday night, at the Writers Guild of America Award ceremony, amidst a lot of foul-mouthed laughs and sober-minded speeches, writer/director Nora Ephron was remembered.

With an impressive 91 percent fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes, Argo has been receiving some Oscar buzz, with some critics claiming it's one of the year's best films.

Will this thriller contribute to a deeper understanding between our two countries? Will it help us find a way of resolving our differences? I doubt it.
