Recent studies regarding happiness show that people who have jobs -- something one does for money -- are not very happy; similarly, I've found that those are the type of people who often eat lunch at their desks.
Time to let go because if I don't I'll lose myself in the process. I'm in danger of forgetting what the holidays and life are all about. What matters is doing the best we can to practice true loving kindness, a genuine desire to act in pursuit of the others' happiness.
Let's not allow yes to be the new no, let's make an effort to engage in authentic and compassionate communications. Let's not fool ourselves into thinking that interacting on Facebook or Twitter will help us get our emotional needs met.
