Based on my research and experience, I'm against snacking for fat loss and fast metabolism. Snacking has become a multibillion-dollar industry where manufacturers push an ever-widening array of Frankenfoods loaded with high-fructose corn syrup and trans fat.
For about two-thirds of us, losing weight can thankfully be as easy as eating less and exercising more -- we've heard this story all along. But for the other one-third, weight loss can be a huge battle because of weight loss resistance.
At one time or another, we've all been promised this: "If the amount of calories we eat is less than the amount of calories our bodies use, we will lose weight." I'm sorry to say that this promise is false.
