Many of the symptoms that patients complain about are the side effects caused by the drug that they were incorrectly prescribed in the first place. I want to stress the need that patients must ask questions and be educated.
Many tragic acts of suicide and violence could be averted by reducing or stopping the use of anti-depressant drugs, and by greater professional and public awareness of the dangers associated with these drug.
"Addiction" is always about the underlying pain. The solution? Legalize and regulate all drugs. Integrate drug policy into public health. Treat addicts as humans, their physical and psychological issues as medical conditions.
