You want to scream, "Check out your sense of entitlement," at the characters in Paul Downs Colaizzo's richly evocative debut play Really Really, an MCC production downtown at the Lucille Lortel Theater, directed by David Cromer.
Girls is one of the funniest, grittiest, and most endearing shows I have ever watched. Lena Dunham is my hero. And that is why it pains me to say this: The season premiere was a big, messy, awkward letdown.
Let's take a moment to rejoice. After 10 episodes of dysfunctional relationships, cringe-inducing sex and a hasty marriage, "Girls" has finally returned to grace us with another season of sexual and professional disasters and occasional triumphs.
