Kenya rising, 01/24/08

In Africa

We call it desertifcation
The process whereby the desert devours the vegetation
Yielding wasteland.
Irreversible.

And warfare encroaches onto tenuous peace.
Rwanda
Somalia

The winds of Africa
Contagious in their fury
Blowing tribal war fare and bloodshed
No country (it seems)
Exempt.
Kenya - a tighrope of stability
Collapsing.

January 25th - A call for a day of prayer for Kenya.

Send winds of peace.

Its sad when un-westernised countries think that the American way is what they want. Even middle eastern countries who apparently don't like the American way find their countries bending to mass consumerism. Bending to the quest for financial wealth. Essentially getting eaten alive by the cancer of westernised greed and power ideals.
It is subtle and quite like desertification. The silent eradication of the planet's innocence.
I always thought it sad/weird/ruthless when I see coca-cola bill boards stewn across countries who barely have enough water! But don't get me started on that!

Yielding politicians...Irreversible...And Warfare encroaches onto tenuous sanity...Iraq...Iran...The Airwaves of America... contagious in their banality...blowing hot air & bloodshed...No Country ( no Planet)...
