Tananarive Due is a novelist, screenwriter and writing coach who has written 12 novels and a civil rights memoir with her mother, activist Patricia Stephens Due. She won a 2002 American Book Award for her novel The Living Blood. She also teaches creative writing in the MFA program at Antioch University Los Angeles.
