Tara Kangarlou is a freelance journalist with an MA Degree in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Southern California. She also has a BA from University of California-Los Angeles with a degree in English Literature with an emphasis on World Literature. She was born in Tehran and lived in the country until early adulthood and later continued her education in the United States. She has produced and written for NBC-Los Angeles, Neon Tommy, and ATVN; and continues to work on socio-political, international, and Middle Eastern affairs.
