In his State of the Union speech on Wednesday, President Obama attempted to recapture what some believe he has lost from his campaign. Did he offer the general voter anything to hang on? Did he reach out to the GOP, and should he have done so? Did this speech and GOP's response accomplish anything, or will the pointless bickering continue? Is the Alito "Not True" scandal really a matter of any importance?

In today's show, we talk the ridiculousness and the tragedy of the John Edwards scandal. Does it paint Democrats into a corner, or is it just one more in a long line of male-ego-driven personal tragedies? (See Spitzer, Sanford, etc.) Plus, we also tackle the latest developments at the Proposition 8 trial. It's all here, in today's Wilshire & Washington!
