Ted is a still photographer, writer and activist residing in Carpinteria (http://TedPages.com). In 1998, he spearheaded the grassroots public acquisition efforts of the Carpinteria Bluffs (http://carpinteriabluffs.org), protecting this coastal open space forever with the help of Citizens for the Carpinteria Bluffs, the Land Trust for Santa Barbara County and the City of Carpinteria. Before that, he worked for 22 plus years in the film industry as a lighting technician. In 1970, he co-founded the now-defunct Fort Wayne Free Press in Fort Wayne, Indiana, a community based paper devoted to peace, the environment, civil rights and other social justice related issues.

Ted is a graduate of the Thacher School, Dartmouth College and the Gray Film Atelier.
