Colbert Defends Haggard: I Buy Meth "All The Time"...
Stephen Colbert "defended" disgraced evangelical Ted Haggard on The Colbert Report Monday night. Haggard became embroiled in scandal last week when a gay former escort alleged that he and Haggard had a sexual relationship for 3 years, and that Haggard had purchased the drug methamphetamine. Over the weekend Haggard was fired from his position as pastor of a Colorado Mega-church and admitted, "I am a deceiver and a liar."
