Tony Snow: Iraq Study Didn't Say "The Policy's Not Working"...They Said The US "Needs A New Policy'...

White House Press Secretary Tony Snow appeared on CNN's Reliable Sources Sunday morning. Host Howard Kurtz questioned Snow on the report of the Iraq Study Group. Snow tried to contend that the press was misrepresenting the report, by painting it as a "searing critique." Snow maintained that the report wasn't a "searing critique" because it agreed with the "goal" of President Bush in Iraq.

Kurtz pressed Snow, reminding him that the report "also said the policy's not working." "No," Snow responded, "what they said is that you need a new policy."
