-In response to a long, concerned email from B. Maher, the blisters and bruising you see are the result of excess pressure. Allow these injuries to heal before you start pumping again. Only low levels of pressure should be applied and never beyond a comfortable level. Or the injuries could be far worse.

- Richard B., sometimes a self-introduced foreign object will get stuck. Sudden sharp pain during evacuation may signify that the object is lodged and may require medical assistance. Other symptoms vary depending upon the size of the lodged object, where it is and how long it has been inside you. If left untreated, infection may set in.


- A. Franken, it’s nearly impossible to gain weight from ingesting that. The amount of protein in a tablespoon is minimal, and from a caloric standpoint, a mouthful is probably equal to a piece of fennel in jam.
