Theodore C. Sorensen served for 11 years as policy adviser, legal counsel, and speech writer to Senator and President John F. Kennedy. He was deeply involved in such matters as the Cuban Missile Crisis, civil rights legislation, and the decision to go to the moon. Since 1966 he has practiced international law at one of New York's most prominent law firms, Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison.

Adam Frankel is assisting Ted Sorensen on his memoirs. A speechwriter on the Kerry campaign, he has worked in the White House and State Department. Adam graduated from Princeton, and has a masters from the London School of Economics, where he was a Fulbright Scholar.
