They've gone way beyond precedent in the cynical manipulation department this time. When their dwindling base tuned in to the news today—after the election blowout, the Senate hearings on oil profits, and slaughtered lawyers and US soldiers in Iraq, what did they get? It's scarcely credible. They got ENDLESS coverage of the ancient Aruba/Natalee Holloway and Andrea Yates murder stories, with some cutaways to Riots in France and Bombs in Jordan.

You know what I think? I think journalists working for Fox who still nurture in their hearts some pretense of professionalism are going to bed ashamed tonight.
