Air America Radio mentioned today that the man who begged John McCain to "Take off the Gloves!" was a plant, ringer, a stooge, a typical McCain supporter. Wait...not that last one.
This black man who was so passionately making his pleas to John McCain runs a business that "generates audience response that reflects your desired results".
He was there to: "Generate Audience Response"?
That is, by defination, a "plant". John McCain's campaign is using plants to generate audience response. And what a response it has been, right? So far, someone has yelled out "terrorist" when Sarah Palin said that Obama "pals around with terrorits..." And recently, at a McCain ralley someone said "Kill Him!" when John referred to Obama. Another time some yelled out: "Off with his head!" True "Alice in Wonderland farse. In neither case did Palin nor McCain attempt to diffuse the rancor. In fact they let it build to a crescendo. And if it is true...it is terrorism itself.
The McCain-Palin rallies are beginning to take on the aspects of a third-world campaign. Hopefully, John's pole numbers will drop and he will re-think the use of plants to get his base fired up. He has surrendered the middle ground and is now courting only those "faithful" who will place their faith and the destiny of our beloved country in the hands of an unstable and unpredictable despot.
But what's new about that? They did that for the past eight years, didn't they?
