Here are three things the new Administration can do for us to make the world (and the economy) better:
1) Provide more incentives for investments in alternative energy programs and levy taxes on carbon emissions.
2) Increase investments in water management and quality systems.
3) Produce tax rebates for the bottom of the pyramid, not the top. The biggest payback government gets is when it gives incentives to those with the least. This may surprise you but it's true. Tax breaks for the rich do not provide as big a return as say increasing social welfare payments.
Combine the above incentives with green collar job programs and a student curriculum that includes lessons on global warming and environmental defense and we will draft people into the battle to fight for the planet's survival. It's a war we can win. Let's hope the new President declares one.
