Tibby Rothman lives in Venice, California, where she is treated to the worlds of architecture and art from the inside. She is a writer and journalist. Her pieces on architecture and urban planning appear in the Architect's Newspaper, her investigative news and feature stories are published by the L.A. Weekly. She has served on a number of design juries and panels and is the chair of the Westside Urban Forum’s 2011 Design Awards. Her first story about architecture, commissioned by the AIA’s 2010 Firm of the Year winner Pugh + Scarpa, was touted by Taschen in "1000 Favorite Websites."
