Tim Downing is lawyer and political junkie who lives in Cleveland. Active in the community, locally, he is on the Executive Committee of the Cuyahoga County Democratic Party, is the Past-President of the Board of Directors of the Cleveland Film Society, the presenting organization of the world-renowned Cleveland International Film Festival, and serves on the Boards of the Great Lakes Theater Festival and the Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio. Statewide, he serves on the Council of Delegates of the Ohio State Bar Association and was a founder of what is now known as Equality Ohio, Ohio’s first statewide GLBT political and educational organization. Nationally, he is a member of the Board of Directors of the Human Rights Campaign, the nation’s largest GLBT political and educational organization.
