Presently, Tino is managing director of the America’s Homeowner Alliance, a new alliance formed to provide a voice for America's 75 million homeowners (www.MyAHA.com). Tino is uniquely qualified for this role, having served the home ownership industry for more than 30 years in a variety of capacities with a focus on fair and responsible lending practices and consumer protection. His background includes the President/CEO position of CharisPros-USA Management Services, Vertex Mortgage Bankers, AIB Mortgage Company, and Americana Federal Savings and Loan. Tino also has the distinction of having served as National Chairman and President of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP), and the architect of the NAHREP Code of Trust -- “En Confianza.” He is a recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award in the field of Marketing from the University of Illinois, and served as a Member of the Consumer Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors.
