Work can be stressful at times, especially when you're an entrepreneur or you're in a high-pressure job when there is a lot of uncertainty involved in what we do. Because of the stress and often long hours, it can affect our performance and even the decisions we make that can have a negative effect on our work.

In a survey carried out by The American Institute of Stress up to 80% of workers reported that they felt stressed at work and of that number 50% said they need help being able to manage the stress. That's a significant number of people, not only will it be affecting their work but it will also be being passed on into their personal life's as well.

That's why it's so important to be able to unwind and recharge your batteries, a great way to do this is to have a vacation, after all, that's why were given vacation time! Perhaps not somewhere you would typically think to go on vacation, but if you truly want to get away from the hustle and bustle then the Isle Of Skye in Scotland is the place to go.

The Isle Of Skye is located on the Northwest coast of Scotland and is accessible via a bridge or by boat. The landscape is rugged due to the weather and coastal location but this adds to its beauty and uniqueness. It will most certainly rain at some point during a visit with the average rainfall over 12 months being 1,494mm, so take your waterproofs!

One of the best bits about the Isle Of Skye is the remoteness, sure you will get tourists but nothing like you would on a trip to Florida. Whilst you're there be sure to check out some of the local pubs and restaurants for some fine dining, also don't forget to check out the Fairy Pools and Neist Point, you will not be disappointed if you're an adventurer and like exploring outdoors.
