Hugh grant in an historical panto, OK. The facial resemblance is if not striking, sufficient. But as soon as he opens his mouth and out comes all that facetious and ingratatiatng self-deprecation, the illusion would be shattered into tiny bits. Try to imagine Hugh Grant thrashing his would-be assassin with his own misfiring horse pistols. Neither can I.
