Alaskan author Charles Wohlforth who wrote a piece in The New Republic
about how he and his wife broke into laughter when he heard that Sarah Palin was McCain's choice said today, "I was writing a travel book and I told my readers, 'avoid Wasilla. It's the most unattractive town in Alaska and it will remind you of the worst sprawl development you've seen anywhere in the country.'"
Of his first impression of when he met Mayor Palin?
"I was just really surprised because she just seemed like an airhead, there just wasn't anything there."

It's a shame that HuffPo held your blog until today. America, having watch her speech, would laugh at the idea that she is an airhead. Actually I laughed at how Wohlford's comments don't at all reflect the truth.
In the future it might be better to have the quotations of a number of individuals which would either reinforce or balance out the blog.
Oh, by the way don't bother quoting media types either. Since the majority have been discredited through biased reporting, either about the war or the election, I'd either stick to regular citizens or skip the part about writing for the New Republic. Frankly I'd have skipped the quotation regarding airhead. As it almost always refers to a female this quote is meaningless as it is clearly sexist.
Geez, man, get it together.
