While Miami Beach and Art Basel was the thing this weekend, the satellite shows were the "real" thing for those who wanted to party! Pulse, Red Dot and Art Miami tents filled Miami's midtown neighborhoods with art, fun and eclectic. With Wynwood's monthly gallery walk thrown in, the party was off the hook. Food trucks added to the fun, with pop up bars and restaurants also getting into the act.
You could purchase a $7.7 million Marc Chagall or Picasso original or a $2 taco on the same artsy block. There was lots of live art in progress with murals being painted around you as you strolled. There were parties galore, food and drinks galore and lots of art or what passes as art these days.
