Tom Grasty is the co-founder of Stroome, a collaborative video editing and publishing platform designed to simplify the production of video news. A recipient of a 2010 Knight News Challenge grant, he was recently named an “Innovator to Watch” by the USC Stevens Institute for Innovation. Tom’s 10-plus year trek through the entertainment, advertising, and internet industries landed him at places like HBO, DreamWorks and VH1, and resulted in the development of over 100 hours of film, television, documentary and digital properties. A native of the Tar Heel state, Tom currently lives in Los Angeles.
