Democracy for America Says Impeach Gonzales!

Democracy for America has been conducting a nationwide Impeach Gonzales campaign for the past four months and we are delighted that Rep. Jay Inslee (D-WA) introduced legislation this week to urge the House Judiciary Committee to consider impeaching Gonzales.

In an effort to aid Rep. Inslee's resolution, DFA is working to place an Impeach Gonzales ad on TV. See the video clip below of the ad. We're asking folks to chip in $15 to get this on the air:

Our local groups delivered a petition signed by over 80,000 concerned Democracy for America members to the office of Rep. John Conyers, Chair of the House Judiciary Committee and several other pertinent committee members earlier this summer. This petition was a culmination of our Impeach Gonzales campaign including a two minute video Impeach Gonzales II: The Crimes and a series of prominent ads which ran in The Hill, the New York Observer, Detroit Metro Times and the Los Angeles Daily News .
