Tom Lowry is a senior writer for BusinessWeek, responsible for the magazine's media and entertainment coverage. Prior to this position, Lowry was media editor. Lowry is an alum of the University of Delaware, and was a Knight-Bagehot Fellow in business and economics journalism at the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism. A newspaper veteran, he also did stints at the New York Daily News and USA Today, among others, before coming to BusinessWeek in 1999.
