Late-night is not the only thing moving to New York City; the latest census concludes that for the first time in 50 years, more people are moving to NYC than moving out.
The population of the city has risen to an all time high of 8,336,697 according to census data conducted a few weeks ago. That number is most likely going to rise with an influx of individuals moving into the city with the warm spring and summer months. People around the world are realizing that New York City is an incredible place to make their home.
Individuals can live in any city in the world, but they're flocking to New York in staggering numbers, and for good reason. The city itself caters to any individual, from the investment broker to the Pilates instructor. For those trying to make it in show business, there is no other place like New York. This metropolis allows individuals to advance in their career and be propelled to success in their ventures.
New York also offers plenty of things to do and see. The city offers some of the finest restaurants in the world and offers Broadway where top shows are performed. The city is full of excitement; residents always experience something new when they walk out their front door. For people living in the city, it is not uncommon to see a celebrity when getting your morning coffee or jogging in Central Park.
From college graduates to retirees the city attracts a large variety of people. With the growth of the population, the housing market has become competitive.
