Press Secretary Sean Spicer quoted President Trump regarding the February jobs report, saying it "they may have been phony in the past, but it's very real now."
The economy added 227,000 jobs last month and the jobless rate was 4.8 percent.
There's still some slack in the labor market.
The participation rate remains near multi-decade lows.
