Barack Obama's Best Choice for VP: Joe Biden
Sen. Biden's first priority is our veterans: You will never -- never -- see our returning troops treated as miserably as they have been under Bush-Cheney if he is vice president.

In an election focused on the economy, and, more precisely, an ailing economy that needs major surgery, selecting Bob Rubin powerfully sends that message.
While the butt of jokes in the movie Borat, Kazakhstan is more interesting and potentially important than many realize.
Nobody else -- nobody in the entire universe of media requests -- is asking for speech transcripts of presidential candidates. This should be a signal that the mainstream media is not even interested in what the actual candidates have to say.
The real subtext of the Obama campaign last week was to attack Clinton in order to distract from Obama's association with his anti-American preacher. National security went un-addressed.
There's not enough room available on the internet to properly tear apart all of the VP suggestions, so I will focus on two of my favorite suggestions: Bill Richardson and Tom Daschle.
The follow are four things that the Obama campaign couldn't resist doing to anger Clinton supporters, supporters that Sen. Obama needs in the general ...
For years, many of us have been in awe of the Clintons, really in awe: a little scared and a little admiring. But the spell finally broke in the past couple of weeks.
Clinton doesn't help Obama with his electoral map in November. He needs someone who has both pull in the states he wants to win and who can help repair rifts with rural white voters. Two names immediately come to mind.
It seems that unlike his Democratic rivals, Sen. Obama would not commit to $50 billion in new funding in coming years to the Global Fund to fight AIDS, tuberculosis & malaria.
In Carville's analogy, Richardson is "Judas," which means Hillary Clinton is? (And Obama?)
Mr. Carville, don't expect the rest of us to fall in lock step just because the Clintons used to be people we worked for or admired. Things change. Judgment trumps loyalty.
History tells us that few people vote for a ticket because of the vice-presidential candidate. However, Bill Richardson could change the electoral map -- now, and for two generations.
Saber-rattling is not a good way to get the Iranians to cooperate and work with us for peace. But it is a tried and true method of laying the groundwork for another war.
Some of my fellow candidates have decided to stop talking about Iraq. I'm not sure their polls tell them it is safer to follow the media's lead and just forget our brave troops and what this war is costing us.
Senator Edwards, how long is it going to take you to make up your mind? That creaking sound you hear is your window of opportunity, slowly sliding shut.

I also thank you for including some of my picks. The one other that people may want to consider is Majora Carter for HUD. (I sent this in separately, so I don't know if you go it.} She is the force behind Sustainable South Bronx, a remarkable organization concerned with urban development that makes cities livable. CNN did a piece on her a while back.
Press Secretary: Rachael Maddow
i think batman makes a better secretary of homeland security and superman is best suited to represent american interests worldwide as Secretary of State (its the gadgets). But on a serious note i really think Bill Clinton would be an amazing SecState because he is already connected with many of those world leaders and would be more than happy to spend most of his time schmoozing his way across the 7 seas repairing America's broken image around the world. Really, who can schmooze better than Bill?
No one seems to have made the obvious choice for UN Ambassador: Willam Jefferson Clinton.
He's got the knowledge and experience, and the rest of the world LOVES him. Plus, as an added bonus, it keeps him out of Washington! (Doesn't he in fact live or work within walking distance?)
Unless she is nominated and elected as Vice President, Hillary should stay in the Senate. Anything else would be a demotion in power and influence.
P.S. Ralph Nader for Ambassador to Somalia or Myanmar..
See Jennifer Bogut's Profile
Actually, if you go to the original post you will see that I did put Bill in the UN Amb. slot.
