Losing the Future, One Budget Cut at a Time

Across the country, from New York, where I live now, to California, where I lived for years, essential government services are being gutted and America's long-term future doomed. We read about it in the headlines daily but if you have a child in public school like me you're probably already feeling the effects. These Millikan Middle Schoolers in California want to let you know how it's effecting them:

While I genuinely appreciate the video, I'm left wondering just how a Columbia education professor does not realize that the verb form of "effect" is "to affect"... somewhat ironic.

If you you really care, vote for the Kucinich progressive Caucus for all offices but pres. Stop voting for the GOP and the DLC democratic corporatist. Please look up all the possibly unfamiliar terms I have used. Vote of suffer.
