The Huffington Post | Andy McDonald | October 7, 2015 | Comedy
In recent seasons, "The Walking Dead" has felt very appropriately titled, less for the "Dead" part and more for the "Walking" part. So much walking that you'd swear you were burning calories, too. Smosh has produced a pretty solid parody of the show, chock full of your standard fake...

Keke Palmer Isn't Offended By Racial Stereotypes On 'Scream Queens'

The Huffington Post | Julia Brucculieri | October 7, 2015 | Entertainment
If you've been watching "Scream Queens," you know about the show's heavy use of racial stereotypes. Yes, it can be offensive at times, but that's sort of what makes the show interesting. It' so over exaggerated and ridiculous, it's kind of hard to take it seriously. In a...

The New 'X-Files' Opening Credits Might Look A Little Familiar

The Huffington Post | Bill Bradley | October 7, 2015 | Entertainment
The truth is still out there people, and so are the original "X-Files" opening credits. At a screening for the new series at MIPCOM television trade fair on Tuesday, which was reportedly warmly received, The Hollywood Reporter says some of the biggest applause came when the original opening credits aired before the episode. And fans of the show should get used to applauding because that isn't going to change. Series creator Chris Carter says changing the opening credits "seemed like like sacrilege." Carter added, “Those credits were on 202 episodes. They belong on these next six," according to THR. The six new episodes will reportedly have Mulder and Scully reopening the X-Files after there's new evidence about alien abductions and a potential dangerous conspiracy. Not a lot of plot details are known yet, but if anything, the news on the opening credits confirms the scariest thing about the new episodes will be Mulder and Scully's old ID pictures. H/T THR, Vulture "The X-Files" airs Jan. 26, 2016, on Fox.   Also on...

Watch A Young Blake Lively Audition For Her Role On 'Gossip Girl'

Carly Ledbetter | October 7, 2015 | Entertainment
Before Blake Lively was Serena van der Woodsen on The CW's "Gossip Girl," she was just, well, Bridget from "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants." But thanks to an old audition tape that's recently resurfaced, you can watch Lively read lines for her beloved role. The actress is so Serena in the video clip above, it's hard to imagine anyone but her getting the part.  And yet, "Gossip Girl" casting director David Rapaport told Buzzfeed that The CW originally wanted other actresses for Serena and Blair.  "I think the network initially pitched us Ashley Olsen and Rumer Willis for Blair and Serena," said Rapaport. "I love Rumer, she’s grown into quite an amazing actress and person, but that, to me, was based on protecting the investment of a television show where creatively, these lesser-known girls really captured the essence of the show and carried it for six years."  Yes, they did.  Also on HuffPost: For a constant stream of entertainment news and discussion, follow HuffPost Entertainment on

The 'Broad City' Ladies Have A Spa Day, But It Doesn't Go Well

Joe Satran | October 6, 2015 | Entertainment
Poor Abbi and Ilana. They can't get anything right. Not even relaxation. In a new video -- part of their online-only series "Hack Into Broad City" -- the "Broad City" ladies try to have a pleasant spa day. Or rather, they try to have two separate spa days while video-chatting with one another. They don bathrobes, apply face masks and prepare for bliss. But then things go awry. Watch the clip above to find out how.  It's pretty hilarious, but it doesn't even begin to sate our appetite for the actual show -- which doesn't return for its third season until 2016. We may not be able to share in Ilana's physical pain, but the psychic pain of waiting stings, as well. Also on...

We're Pretty Excited About This New Trailer For 'Fargo' Season 2

Joe Satran | October 6, 2015 | Entertainment
"Fargo" is coming back to FX in less than a week, but despite a few trailers, we really don't know all that much about the plot of the new season. The show's anthology format means that it's a hard reset: None of the lead actors are returning, and this season will be set in 1979, more than 20 years before the previous one. That's why we're glad to see this new trailer for Season 2. Though it recycles some footage from earlier trailers, it also features some new snippets -- plus, even more tantalizingly, interviews with several members of the star-studded cast and with show creator Noah Hawley. In the video, Hawley specifically addresses the challenge of building a story for an anthology series like "Fargo." "You're trying to reap a tone and a feel and a world without using any of the same characters or telling the same story," he says. "My feeling is you can't just repeat yourself. You've gotta reinvent the whole thing." Want more? Check out these photos from the new season: "Fargo" Season 2 premieres on Oct. 12 at 10 p.m. on FX.   Also on...
