Up & Over It
GET UPDATES FROM Up & Over It
Up & Over It is a collaboration between Riverdance alumni Suzanne
Cleary and Peter Harding and video artist Jonny Reed. Stretching the
concept of Irish dance to its limits, they mix it up with electro-pop,
nouveau folk, alternative percussion, experimental video, contemporary
dance and cabaret.

Suzanne and Peter first met on the Irish dance competitive circuit
where between them they accumulated, World, North American, All
Scotland and Great British, Irish dance championship titles. They both
performed with Riverdance on their world tour as well as in the West
End and on Broadway. As Up & Over It, they ditched the velvet-clad
diddly-idleness of Riverdance, premiering their unique spin on Irish
dance at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2009. They have since performed
around the world including, New York, Berlin, Paris and London and in
2012 joined the cast of the award-winning La Soiree at the Roundhouse, London. They have also performed in legendary theatre and cabaret shows such as Crazy Horse and The Box and are a regular fixture on London’s alternative cabaret scene performing with shows such as Duckie, Boom Boom Club, Cafe De Paris and Medium Rare.

In 2010, they went viral with their hand dancing video We No Speak
Americano ft. Cleary & Harding, directed by Jonny Reed. Since then
their online videos have been viewed over 10 million times on YouTube.
