A dramatic life event turned me from a Republican to a liberal Democrat almost overnight. I'm so happy to have crossed over from the dark side. I'm 47, well educated and well traveled. I was born and raised in Iowa and currently reside here. This last Presidential election was my eight to vote in. I'm proud to be an Iowan and proud of Iowa for giving Obama a leg up on his way to the Whitehouse.
