Hmm... so here's a little bit about me: My user name is not related to my real name (an inside joke), I am in my twenties (everyone thinks I am younger than my real age), I grew up in a poor family that was educated (which made me rich), I graduated from an IB program at a public high school (underrated), I got a degree from an Ivy League School (overrated), I speak three languages fluently (and I hope to add a fourth), I am usually a provident nerd (but I still purchase haute couture like a profligate), I have an inner desire to be a recluse (but I still party at least twice a week), I enjoy reading while listening to music (you can learn everything about the world from a Camus novel), my favorite book is Cien anos de soledad (you can learn everything about human behavior from a Garcia Marquez novel), I like spending hours on the internet (bad for my health), I like drinking cocktails and chain smoking with friends (good for my health), I have learned that power perceived is power achieved (which is unattractive), and I love the United States of America because it is still the greatest country in the world (which is very attractive).
I am a classic humanist (of the renaissance kind), I am a classic liberal (not the democrat kind), I am a registered voter (not the republican kind), I believe that moderation is a virtue (but ideology is a vice), I think the Huffington Post is a great website (though its commentary is rarely right), I think liberal media is awful (though its commentary is rarely wrong), I think conservative media is glamorous (though its commentary is rarely vogue), I believe that real 'neoconservativism' is alive and well (an intrinsic value of the American consciousness), I believe one of the greatest Americans is not even American (Gilbert du Motier), I feel the greatest president caused the death of the most Americans (Lincoln), I feel the worst president was the most humanitarian (Carter), I think Dick Cheney is a patriot (misunderstood), I think John McCain is a real American hero (not understood), I feel that contemporary conflict can be explained by reading Les Chants de Maldoror (never understood), I wish my president could be like Emperor Hadrian (the "memoirs" version), I like President Bush (voted for him), I like President Obama (could have voted for him), I feel the next years will be a success (great individuals are prone to great things), and I hope that Mr. Obama will be an illustrious leader (great presidencies are prone to great individuals).
