Bertha, what a name... I knew a very nice lady named Bertha when I was a child. She played Piano for my family gospel goup. She never married or had children... music was her whole life. It is not the most beautiful name, but this woman was a beautfiul person.

Actually Barack was 21 years old when he first moved to Chicago. And to him and many others over the age of 35, "21" is still a "kid". And he says more times than I can count, that his mother had to go on food stamps for a couple of years. She WAS a single mother before she married her second husband and divorced him only a few years later. So she spent MOST of her life with her son as a SINGLE mother.
Single mother's can be also divorced or widowed. It means that you are raising your child without a husband.
He has not lied. You simply misunderstood and are WRONG.

My Take On Obama

Now why does this bring tears to my eyes? Diddy is right. We must reflect and truly look back over the past that has brought us to now. It is amazing that we all can now dream and see that dreams for ALL Americans can come true.

Barack is an African American of mixed heritage. His wife is black and his children are black also. THis is a great day. ALL Men (and Women) are created equal.
