Bio
Mostly, I'm lucky -- I mean Irish, found-me-a-leprechaun lucky. A brain tumor survivor of thirteen years, mom of seven excellent people (six living, one deceased)... and married all these years to a man who still introduces me as his trophy wife.
Sweet.
My husband and my dogs teach me about love. Now, I'm learning tolerance, patience, and some inventive cuss words under these Neo-Cons. I don't like mean people much. Don't like folks who scare little kids either. I vote accordingly.
I grew up an Oregon rose, now I'm an Arizona desert rat. Except for that one unfortunate time in Tijuana when I learned how tequila, salt, and a little wedge of lime can pretty much make one swear off drinking forever, I've never traveled anywhere. Wish I could.
I pay my bills on time, work like crazy, pray for peace like crazy, make stupid golf shots, laugh so much I can't stand it, and try to stay away from regrettable things.
Sometimes I sigh too much, but it's only because I know we can do better than how we do now.
I wish well for us all.
In Peace ... Ani
