Tim Russert Dies: The Media Reacts

I rarely even flip to Fox "News", but last night I did a from time to time out of curiousity. To their credit, they had the same non-stop coverage and kind words as CNN. Shows how unparalleled the respect for Tim Russet is. posted 06/14/2008 at 08:35:12

Hillary Clinton Concession Speech: Suspends Campaign, Endorses Obama

I understand that you take attacks on your cadidate personally, and I sympathize because I feel the same way about Obama.

Dont think that the ugly talk has been one sided.. How many times has Oba-ma been called an empty suit and what he has acheived been dismissed? I have seen Cli-nton supporters further the Muslim myth and play on the Wright scandal. I also see Oba-ma supporters say the things you are angry about.

To truly support Clin-ton, it is time to answer her call, and look forward together, not back.. posted 06/07/2008 at 14:00:48
I though this was one of her most authentic speeches I have heard posted 06/07/2008 at 13:34:12

Religious Right Figure Gets Chills: Obama Could Win 40 Percent Of Evangelicals

Have you ever seen Obama speak about his faith? It is when he is at his most authentic. McCain looks like he is lying everytime he mentions God. Obama can really score big with this sgment of voters. He should send some people into some of those mega size non demoninational churchs too.. they would be a very large and perceptive audience to a message about poverty and against war. posted 06/06/2008 at 19:18:16

Jay Leno Apologizes For Gay Remarks

i have to respectfully disagree. Humor has always been based on our differences. If we can laugh about them it means that we don't take ourselves too seriously. Shows like Chappelle Show, South Park, Family Guy, ect. are great shows and do more to help us lighten up and relax than pretending our differences don't exist. Is the problem that we have differences that are funny, or that we cannot laugh about ourselves? I think the answer is the latter.. posted 04/02/2008 at 11:16:05

Clinton Says Obama Wants to Stop Votes

This is another lie.

1.) This is not what Obama is saying, in fact it is just the opposite.
2.) No one is saying that those primaries should not be held, just that Mrs Clinton cannot catch Mr Obama so therefore she should drop out. The Primaries will go on either way.

Why are all of Hillary's arguments lately distractions are half truths? Does she think that people are this stupid? Obama speaks to us as if we were adults, Clinton tries to trick us as if we were children. posted 04/01/2008 at 09:56:47

Clinton's Convention Strategy In Doubt

This credentials committee sounds more like Iranian "democracy" than any western democracy... They should just change their name from the credentials committee to the Guardian Council. Are Hillary supporters so blinded by their support for their candidate as to throw all democratic principals out the window? If Obama wins more votes, delegates, and states but is robbed by this committee, the democratic party will have to be renamed the Undemocratic Party posted 04/01/2008 at 08:09:04

Bill Maher's Hillary Clinton Monologue: "Get Elected Or Lie Trying"

I would agree with one caviat... As long as his writers are not on strike. I love Bill, but wow, those shows were hard to watch. Not like the brilliant Steven Colbert who I believe was better without writers posted 04/02/2008 at 13:11:43

Hillary's Approval Rating Plummets In NBC/WSJ Poll

You are wrong. The margin of error is calculated by comparing the "sample size" to the "population". It is a simple equation and this equation, with these variable (sample size of 700 out of 300M population) gave a margin of error +/- 3.7%

There is no "elephant in the room" as you suggest. Just a normal poll with a smaller than average margin of error. posted 03/27/2008 at 09:12:14
I think it is folly to dismiss Hillary's unpopularity as due to her gender. She had huge negatives coming into this race and that has not changed. Her tactics have only reinforced this. I believe that a the United States is ready to elect a woman, and I am prepared to vote for one with glee, just not Hillary Clinton and her fratricidal tendencies posted 03/27/2008 at 09:09:04
Besides opening your post with an annoying cliche, you are wrong about this poll.

If you really understood Stats, the "margin of error" is the direct result of the "sample size" vs the size of the "population". Therefore there is a 3.7+/- margin of error.

Furthermore, the african americans were only oversampled on the questions about race and Obama's speech, not the favorability or direct match up polls.

So are you one of the people you speak of that "lacks a basic understanding of stats" or are you a Hillary mole that is trying to spread misinformation? posted 03/27/2008 at 08:36:25
