I will personally bet you $1 million US Dollars you cant make the earths temperature to rise by even one half a degree within one year from today...want to put your money where your mouth is? I think this bet will serve you all well, you cant do it, I know it, and if you really think you can, I WILL take you up on it. Even a thermonuclear blast doesnt raise our earths temperature...wake up, you are so tiny that if you get to just 25,000' above the ground we are invisible ask any pilot. In fact only major cities can barely be seen, go another 10,000 above that and even they disappear from sight. I am a climatologist, and just so you know the 1500 or so scientists that the UN says makes the science resolved...didnt even get to review the findings, in fact more than 1450 of them never saw, and were not to permitted to see the final report. Its called a scam in laymans terms, you've been had. CO2 is what plants "breathe in", oxygen is what plants breathe out. Humans and most animals breath out CO2 and breath in Oxygen. The less CO2 the less green the earth could sustain. the less green the earth sustains, the less animal life it can sustain...its all connected. Oh and by the way more CO2 doesnt produce warming (ie warming temperatures is NOT a product of increased CO2, rather increased warming cause animal life to produce more CO2...the UN has it backwards. This is exactly why our oceans have a huge "to do" with our climate. Our waters have started cooling within the last few years, the ramification has and will be reduction of CO2 production in the Oceans(the largest contributor of CO2 by FAR!). The danger is that if we were ever to get cool enough to produce constant condensation/cloudiness we could enter another ICE AGE. Now even a mental patient knows that plant life cannot survive in an ice age, but can thrive in a warmer weather. I got up and turned all my lights on, lit my stove, turned on all four SUVs in the driveway, left the refrigerator door open, turned on the hair dryer (Im bald, so why do i have one ogf these anyway), put my heat setting up to 90 degrees, opened the windows and doors, ran the hotwater, and then hyperventilated to produce as much CO2 as my body could produce. I have news for you... Al-Sadr will be dead within a week, if he isnt already. They arent playing nice any longer, and chances are he is a target of US bombing raids...libs are so niave, god help us if we ever have another in office and get attacked, they would immediatley raise the white flag and piss their pants, but I digress and state the obvious. No Iraq is too important on the world stage at this point, Al Quiada needs a place to operate freely and a crippled Iraq is the perfect place. The surge pushed them back, so now the internal power brokers tussle for power, because they can operate freely for their own ambitions and not Al Quiadas. The elected Government has also learned that it must have law and order and while they have much to learn, they are not going to take the same diplomatic route they took against the renegades like Al Sadrthat they took before Al Quiada moved in and made false promises to the various sects in Iraq to help liberate them from the "crusader"USA. No, Al-Sadr has pretty much signed his death warrant and we really dont care who does the job, us or Iraqii military or police...and frankly neither do I. And since youre so slow on the uptake...the theme of the movie was anti-war...it railed against how governments settle disputes at the expense of the people...you should get movie themes for dummies...it actually had a very liberal theme, as do most war movies like Platoon, Hamburger Hill, Full Metal Jacket...they all recreate a vietnam directly from the false testimony of the John Kerry fake veterans that gave testimony in Congress saying they had committed various atrocities and that it was common place, only later to be revealed they had either never been in the military or where assigned stateside and never stepped foot in vietnam...but those lies have formed an entire three decades worth of movies themes...all of which were anti-war. What Rush really brought you up about is also true. He reviewed a statement of yours in which, as you mention above, you were critical of the right using terrorism for successful political gain against the left...and Rush is right. You were complaining that the right had to be stopped from doing that, but you never stop to consider why it works for the right to use it successfully...because the people believe we need to be afraid of terrorists (it is what their very name "terrorist" means..to invoke fear in the people). The left , and Im not trying to use a cliche here, always seems to demonstrate a Sept. 10th mentality toward terrorism, as though ignoring is the best thing to do...on Sept 10th , as many of youre bl;oggers point out, someone was neglegently IGNORING terrorists. (Now you of course blame the guy who had only been in Office for 4 months, due to election issues...another subject), ok fine...thats not the point...the point is YOU CANT have it BOTH ways. You cant blame the guy in office for ignoring the terrorists and hence causing 9/11, and then turn around and act like leaving terrorists will make them go away, its kind of a stupid position to take.
